Dustin Myers is a Chartered Accountant, Chartered Professional Accountant who has over 16 years of extensive accounting experience and advanced taxation training. Born and raised in Calgary, Dustin has dedicated his entire career to becoming a tax specialist.
Dustin started his accounting career with KPMG focusing on audit and then Price Water House Coopers where he found his passion in taxation. Hard work and successful outcomes with PWC’s top clients, helped Dustin accelerate into the role of Tax Manager. He had the responsibility of developing and implementing high valued tax solutions and strategies for small businesses, farmers, professionals and large private/public corporations.
Using this success, experience and determination with PWC. Dustin further refined his specialization and knowledge in tax by taking on highly specialized taxation roles with Fortune 100 companies. Here, he was instrumental in helping them successfully navigate through the difficult endeavors of corporate tax, strategy and audit defense.
His experience has allowed him to witness firsthand the transformational growth of Calgary into one of Canada’s most important economic cities. Understanding the economic constraints his clients face every day. He knows the importance of becoming a valued team member and advisor in his client’s businesses. Helping them become better organized and tax efficient through the delivery of prompt quality service and well researched accurate accounting/tax solutions.
In Dustin’s spare time he enjoys camping with his wife and three young sons in the summer when things tend to be a bit slower at the office. In the Winter season, aside from Dustin’s passion for his tax work, he and his wife enjoy volunteering for their son’s hockey association and traveling around the world. Dustin continues to attend various courses and conferences that are offered within the tax community.
